7th SAF Webinar "Scaling SAF in Africa: Technology Choices, Regional Direct Supply Lines and Key Actions"

The seventh SAF Webinar marks the final session of the SAF Webinar Series organised by AFCAC and EASA under the SAATM Project. Throughout the project, the series has provided a platform for African and international experts to exchange knowledge, share practical experiences and discuss key developments supporting the deployment of Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) across the continent.

About the webinar

This final webinar focussed on the practical steps required to scale SAF deployment across Africa. Discussions explored technology pathways, regional Direct Supply Lines (DSLs), infrastructure needs and the key actions required to create an enabling environment for sustainable SAF development.

As the concluding session of the webinar series, it also provided an opportunity to reflect on the knowledge shared throughout the project and discuss the next steps for advancing Sustainable Aviation Fuels in Africa beyond the lifetime of the OPER SAATM Project.
