SAF Train-the-Trainer Workshop brings together environmental experts from African Civil Aviation Authorities to strengthen knowledge on Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) and support the implementation of Africa's Continental SAF Action Plan.
Organised by AFCAC, EASA and the CAA of Gabon under the OPER SAATM Project, the workshop aims to develop a network of national experts who will be able to share this knowledge within their own organisations and contribute to future SAF initiatives across Africa.
About the workshop
Over two days, participants will explore the full SAF value chain—from feedstock and production to financing, policy development and deployment. The programme combines technical presentations, industry experience and practical group exercises based on real-life scenarios.
The workshop follows a "learning by doing" approach. Throughout the programme, participants work together on a country case that evolves from one session to the next, allowing them to apply new concepts while exchanging experiences with colleagues from across the continent.
